HELP! Mothballs smell in washing machine!!!

I recently washed an old blanket and now my washing machine smells of mothballs! I can't get rid of the smell....Please help!

Have you tried Soda Crystals? Do a clean long wash with only soda Crystals in the drum... It does seem to take away a lot of nasty smells. You can also add a few drops of lavender essential oil in the "softner" container
