Sorry for not being in the correct Topic thread,but I might get more response in this one.

Oh no, I cannot believe it!!!
I'm on my PC in my L-shaped lounge, and my mum is watching some drama on ITV.
But,I could hear Crimbo adverts already!!! I don't feel like Christmas at all yet.
In fact, I'm really not in a Christmassy mood at the moment.
Does anyone think it's a bit early for Crimbo adverts??
What do you lot think?
Or maybe I'm a bit of a sourpuss! :)

Sher, you're so right, if your children are not spoilt, they realise that things cost, if we explain that we hav eto pay 'Santa' for the gifts, they know that they can't have everything they desire, good grounding!..........

Now I haven't told anyone about this on AB,but I will tonight.
I really know what Christmas is all about ,because I'm a Christian,and I have been one since my teens.
Now most of you would think that I go to church every week of every month of the year.
But,since my dad died, it felt as if someone had taken part of my life away,and I only go when there is something special on now, like Christmas,Easter,and so on.
Before he died, there wasn't really need for me to go every single week.As long as you still have faith and believe in God,and also be polite and friendly to other people,although it can be difficult at times I know in this world of ours, that is all that matters.
I have a very positive view of life,and although I do get a bit down at times, I try not to let it bother me too much,as I then let my music take over my grief and sadness.
Music is my way of getting away from it all,and it means a lot to me.
What would the world be without music ehh?
Pretty dull I would imagine!!! ;)

I agree with you, Imo. Losing a loved one is very hard to bear.

We still have a lot in life to be grateful for, though. And like you say ...... music's great, and how fab that we can just call it up on YouTube!
