I think a couple are, a couple aren't. It's not some big secret- they are officially a Scottish band, or that's how they present themselves. The lead singer is definitely Scottish.

I think, as georgit said, not all the members are Scottish but they formed while at Glasgow School of Art so present themselves as such.
