I think I found a kind of loophole in the not being friends with an instructor situation.

Seeing as sending messages on facebook doesn't cost us anything, and that's what we do instead of texting, we could delete each other from being friends but as long as we don't block each other, we can still send messages, which TBH isn't any different to texting realy is it? and technically we're nto breaking rules, seeing as we won't be fb friends. . . . what do you think?

I never said she would message we whilst at work.

Anyway she thinks because we were friends before either of us were in the corps and i'm over 16 we might be able to get away with it . . . .
Molly -Would you be quite happy to take the blame for her being sacked from cadets ?
"she told me today that's she's got a nearly full time job (9-3pm) so she'll be leaving sixth form . . . . plus there might eb something we need to tell the other which we would normally text, but a fb message is free"

So what's this all about then? If she isn't going to use it at work why would either of you need to know??? Jeeze, meet for coffee, do lunch, go for dinner but you cannot conduct yr social life during work hours
I really think you ought to be careful or you will be finding yourself on the way out of cadets.
Remarkably restrained Molly .. remarkably restrained.
People I know would have already been to the hotel by now.
molly - you have been warned. your friend could lose her promotion over this, and your record - which you are proud of - could be permanently stained. I know you are both teenagers (not sure if ojread realises this) but as ojread does say, most people can't use FB at work - AT ALL. Don't waste your energies trying to get round this, it's a rule there for a reason.

For goodness sake, how amny times do i ahve to say this, neither of us go on facebook whilst at school (and won't be during work) we just use the messaging facility instead of texting.
She obviously does not want to see sense over this so she will only have herself to blame when it all blows up in her face - she will be booted out of cadets and her friend will lose her chance of promotion.
