Is it possible to transfer data from 120gb hard drive to the new black slimline ?
The user manual says "you cannot use original XBOX 360 memory units or hard drives with this version of the XBOX 360 console.

Yes it is possible, you can use data transfer kit (ring xbox support), or buy a usb memory stick to back up your precious saves. (ms do an xbox branded one now)
