use two and brew for at least 5 mins...if you really want to relax/sleep any of the following in combination with your chamomile

Passiflora, vervaine, hop you can buy herb teas with some or all of these herbs in.... I make them strong with two bags in a wide necked vacuum flask so they can stand for ten minutes without cooling... add honey and hit the pillow
How do you make it taste nice, though, rowan? I like fruit teas and mint and lemongrass, but camomile tea tastes to me like the bottom of an ashtray - I must be doing it wrong...
Ive tried getting into these fruit teas, to me its like drinking hot fruit squash but I'm just not really a tea drinker, I'm more of a strong black coffee sort of person.

Carakeel and her Mum drink it, I just relax with my dogs in my garden over a black coffee, but we do put it in a flask, saves keep going back to the house :-)
when you brew chamomile tea add honey and a piece of cinnamon stick and some lemon peel... it also tastes lovely made up half and half with warm apple juice...
I never thought to use two teabags I like fruit teas but I found them rather weak. The fennel tea I gave away I only had to open the cupboard door and I could smell it, in fact the cupboard still smells of it
Thanks rowan - I'm into green tea with mango at the moment, it's really lovely.
Herb teas need to be put into airtight containers as soon as you open the packaging fennel is great for bloating better still made one bag fennel one bag mint...great for post booze nausea drunk very sweet
Thanks rowan, one day too late, I've given the fennel away and I was pretty delicate this morning after a heavy night last night I could have done with that. lol
I love Twinings Camomile, Honey &Vanilla. Smells lovely too. Single bag, left for 5 minutes, does the trick for me.
I often let it get cold and drink it then, still tastes lovely and refreshing!

Thanks all I did try two bags last night and had a great sleep but was naturally tired anyway so ill have to try it again when feeling 100% alert at night and need to sleep to really be able to judge it properly.
According to the packaging, most herbal teas are a good source of antioxidants (as long as you don't add milk) so the chamomile is probably doing you some good even if it doesn't make you sleep any better!!
Boxtops, you can get chamomile tea bags that have vanilla, orange, lemon or ginger in them too and with a spoonful of honey they taste not bad :)
