Thanks Red. There was a lovely set on offer at work last week, you know, where they leave books etc and everyone has a chance to look and order; I didn't go for them and now I'm sorry. I'll ask the chap who comes round on Friday if he can bring them again.
This silicon stuff is very resilient to colour-changing. It's available in lots of places now (eg Wilkinsons etc) and probably a lot cheaper than from a catalogue!
I saw them in the book mans bits too. :-)

Actually it's "silicone" BTW. Silicon is an element.

I'm really sorry I didn't get them - they were lovely; cup cakes, and 2 larger ones (I'm sure one of them was heart shaped). My grand-daughter will especially enjoy helping with such lovely colours! I'm delighted to see this whole afternoon tea-time thing is all the fashion. I LOVE afternoon tea!
my book club had a cakes and cookies book with 1001 ideas in. I cant wait to try them
I'm still waiting on cheesecake red
i know, i know, maybe i should just give you recipe
no best made by you, wouldnt want S knowing what goes into it :-)
poundland was selling some of the cake tins and loaf tins a while back .there aparently very good
QVC do good ones as well and I got lovely cupcake case in asda
We have silicone cake moulds in the shape of Father Christmas's face and a butterfly shape, they're fab!
Horseshoes - Lakeland have them mail order, I've always found their stuff good and reasonably priced, check here http://www.lakeland.c...-baking/product/13290
I have tried a couple of different makes of silicon bakeware

The cupcake cases - cakes always stick, the cake cases - cakes always stick.

the only thing I find them useful for is pastry. It never sticks and unlike the metal pie tins my pastry is always browned, crispy (not soggy) and the pies do not stick.
I'd hope the colour was stay fast, otherwise what is it leeching into your food !
