Anyone got one of these ? no replies in technology so trying here

.OK I have just received my first ebook.I have d/loaded a couple of books on my laptop, however I cannot see for the life of me how to transfer to the ebook. When i connect up i press Data transmission on reader and graphics show connecting. Both books are d/loaded onto Adode digital editions but i cannot see what to do next, I have the the guide a couple of times but it doesn't explain.
So I'm hoping someone can give me an idiot's guide

if you type Hanvon n516 book reader into youtube, there is bound to be somebody doing a video demo ?

Thanks Ankou. i have done that but they only showed the reader and it's capabilities.

are the books you downloaded onto the reader showing (recent reading, bookcase) ?

Thanks for your input Ankou, I have it all sorted now, using Calibre it's all straight forward.
