Do these patches work? Has anyone used them that could shed some light on this?

I haven't used them as yet, but am still waiting for the patches to arrive (nearly 3 weeks since I sent off for them). Problem is that there is no telephone number or address on the literature you keep ahold of so I have no way of knowing if the patches will even turn up on my doorstep. Hopefully when they (or if they) arrive I will be able to answer this question. I must admit I am sceptical about this - it sounds too good to be true. But I'm game to give anything a go once, and afterall they stress all over the literature that if you aren't entirely satisfied you will get your money back............we shall just have to wait and see.
Question Author
After posing the Question above, I finally received my Dead Sea Patches this weekend!!! The free gift(suposed to be worth 20 turned out to be a really cheap and nasty 2 bottle of perfume-YUK!) Anyway, I've been using them for 2 days and so far have not lost any weight, although it is early days....watch this space for an update!!
So...  who's used them recently and what has been the result?  I'm longing to find out so I can help a friend lose a LOT of weight.

Another friend said since the active ingredient affecting your metabolism is iodine, it could mess with your thyroid gland, which isn't a good idea.

Are there any medical opinions out there on this patch?  Has it been tested and are there any links to any results?  I've been googling hard and finding it hard to find anything..  :-/
