Great food, not expensive, nice atmosphere. Sometimes you have to wait for a table but not for long. They have a restaurant in Store Street which is approx a three minute walk from Goodge Street tube.

My better half is going there tonight though so you may find they've run out of the Squid ;-p
Covent Garden?

Have a blow out and go to The Ivy. It's FAB !!
I would go to the place where the woman sings "feeds the birds" its only tuppence a bag!!

value or what
I misread the 'blow out' part of Jayne's answer and wondered what sort of restaurants they have in London - if they serve steak as well my husband will be there in a flash.
Sssshhhh!! Stop telling people about busabas!

It's absolutely awful. Honest. You'll hate it. Especially the squid. ;0)
The bins at the back of the savoy hotel. If you can avoid the security guard It's top nosh for free!
Try the Maple Leaf Oz pub near Covent Garden. Good food reasonably priced and they may just have the draught Molson back. Great atmosphere.
Go to Wong Kei if you like chinese food.
I thoroughly recommend it.
