What's the best solution for 4 or 5 small paint scrapes on my Jazz. Is it easy to rectify by myself or take it to a paint shop and what could I be expected to pay. Most of the scrapes are the size of 10p pieces. Also anyone know of a reliable person in Sheffield area to deal with these.

Thx

Perhaps try Chips Away

I haven't tried them myself, so I can't give a personal recommendation. They have been going a while so must be doing something right.

They are a franchise chain, so each individual is self employed.
As an ex-bodyshop manager may i suggest the following:- If you get you finger nail and GENTLY pull nail accross the "scratches either you nail will feel a DEFINED ridge ( normally you may see a white/grey undercoat)and therefore you will need a proper paint job ,If the are small genuine scratchs I have used Dent Devils/or similar type of these companies opporate all over the UK but if you cannot feel this ridge (scratch mark) it may just need to be buffed out . This is the cheapest course.
Also....It depends on how many panels are scratched. One panel will be a lot cheaper than three panels.

Thx for the advice, being a clumsy git I've opted to have it done professionally.

Just had the scrapes and scratches dealt with by BMVCarcare. Excellent finish and car again looks like new.
ps I have nothing to do with the company but I think good workmanship needs advertising
