Have just purchased 2003 BMW M3 the alarm keeps going off randomly in the day! Does any body have any idea why, or how I can sort it out?

I expect you have checked this but are all the windows completely shut? The alarm on our BMW 3 series used to go off randomly and then we realised that a rear window was open a fraction; shutting it cured the problem.

Thanks, have just been out and made sure they are all shut properly and keeping my finger crossed, hope it does the trick, will let you know.
