I have a 32" Technika TV Model 32-630.

Although at first it seemed good value for money ie HD ready 1080p, built in DVD player and USB record, all this and a 3 years free guarantee, I notice 3 faults and I am wondering if these are common with this TV?

1/ The picture and the sound can sometimes be out of synco, which I can sometimes eliminate by retuning the channels.

Could this be due to a weak signal? and would this be corected by either a signal booster or a modern aerial? (never had the trouble with the old TV)

2/ The sound is very tinny even more so when set to 'surround'

3/ The EPG (electronic programme guide) clock is one hour slow, and since this is set automatically I can't see how I can alter it. ( I suspect it is something to do with 'Summer Time'..

1. No. Probably quality issue with on-board processor.
2. Older surround processors put one channel speaker(s) out of phase. This cancels some bass. Cannot fix this unless you plug into better AV amp.
3. I would also think this is firmware (on board) problem with the Freeview board. I assume it is Freeview?

Thanks for your answers guys, since the TV is only a couple of weeks old, would they accept it in a Tesco store, because I bought it on-line at Teso Direct?
Also the problem with these tvs is the speakers are generally pap! im quite fortunate in that i have 6 speaker surround that kicks the ass out of any tv speaker so i never bother with the sound on the telly!

oh and buy a decent make! Sony, Panasonic and Samsung all the way!

I first thought I had I bought a Phillips, but it lasted less than 2 years.

That is why I bought cheapo this time, at least it has a 3 years guarantee.
