Heres hoping for some more rain today. We need it soooo badly. Was hoping for some yesterday, but...nothing., not even a trickle!

Thanks rowanwitch. It so often comes across the country and then instead of coming to us it makes its way up north .Fingers crossed we will get some soon.!

Morning Georgiesmum, we had heavy rain over night, but it is dry this morning although dull. Saves me watering my sisters garden as they are on holiday.

Morning all - well its wet-ish in the New Forest, fine drizzle but we have gale force winds along the coast tonight - think I will stay here!

Just looked on Metcheck..for Clacton. showers around middle of the day, nice tomorrow and a bit of heavier rain during the night then looks like its nice and dry for a week or so... probably not enough to soak the garden properly I like metcheck you can put the town where you live and ger really detailed forecasts

I use weather.com - they are based in my home town and I find them far more reliable than any other. You get a good 10 day forecast there too

We get some wonderful sea scapes in rough weather especially around Hengistbury Head - the eastern part of our beaches just next to Christchurch. It fair blows round the extremities there! Rowan - my parents came from the midlands so relatives on both sides used to love coming to stay with us
