Why when I have just pressed the button at the traffic lights does someone come along and press it again. Then when I do cross that person will walk right in front of me to go the other way.?

they do it in lifts too... pressing the buttons doesn't make the doors close any faster nor the call button make it come any quicker... and why press the down call button when you want to go up....

Same with Lifts. The light is on showing that the lift has been called, pressing it again makes no difference.

I find it annoying when people don't press the button and I'm stood there waiting for ages to find I need to press it. AARGH!!!

I always press the button again in case the numpty I'm stood next to hasn't bothered.

Yes squarebear that is true but when you are seen to press it and that person just behind you does it again well I feel like saying something lol
