brown spots on mint

can anyone please tell me why my garden mint has recently developed little brown spots on the leaves, and can I still use it, it has been watered quite often.

If you google "brown spots on mint" there are quite a lot of sites, hopefully one of them will have an answer for you!
something may be eating the leaves. It could be a mildew forming. It could be sun spots if watered in the sun. It could just be old leaves that can go a bit brown if hungy.

There are many causes of brown spots but as it is mint which grows fast, just cut out the bad bits and let plenty of new growth appear.
