they float in front of you in this war weather, nip you and you don't feel them till a carbuncle erupts on your face, and you can't catch' em either, you would have thought me and my mates were doing synchronized clapping sitting the beer garden last night

Haven't noticed bobbi but the air was filled with stuff like dandelion seed today.

probably woolly aphids Prudie, loads of them around here. No black flies though bobbi

Gawd knows but they are bloody pests
We haven't got any biting flies, but we have been inundated by dark coloured moths can't get rid of them.

we had a moth the size of bird on our front door gran,,,ewwwwgh
They are compost flies which breed in your indoor plants. I just give the room a spray with Fly Killer and shut the doors for an half hour, but if you have a bird in a cage don`t forget to take it out.
There's always loads of midges in the park when I'm walking my little fluffmeister, why don't they understand that I don't want to see them on my actual eyeball or that I don't want to eat them!!!! Go away nasty midges!!
