ever had an other half that requires soooo much attention....god i have just got rid of one...

felt like i was being the man...god im so mad hahaha what a huge ego!!!

fishing for compliments and constant reassurance...aargh!!

It is hard isn't it? When you have to make all the decisions and organising and then tell them all the time how great they are blah blah blah. It's like they want to be mummy's little boy so you have to keep telling them what a big grown up man they are even though they act like a wee girl :) Now you can move on and find someone who'll look after you and tell you that you're beautiful and your bum doesn't look big, good on you girl ;) x

No but when I got with my now boyfriend, he was very overpowering, always calling me princess, how beautiful I was, cuddling all the time etc and because I wasnt used to it I felt suffocated, after a while as it does with most relationships it died down and now we are completely at ease with eachother and when there is a compliment or a stolen kiss its more special

awww god karen...i was at my wits end...saying things like gorgeous and thinkn about u etc...and then cos i ddnt say same back it was " tryin to get a compliment from u is like blood out a stone" i am VERY caring and loving but not to someone who is fishing constantly!!! aaargh!!! then he went a few miles away ...yes few miles away to visit someone and asking if i was missing him....oh and bring a camera tonight im looking good!!! aaaarrrggghhhhhhhh wants u to comment on ALL pics on facebook....i cant take that!!! but i hate being painted out as an ice queen!!! ...on paper it was nice with compliments and flowers etc but OH MY GOD the level of attention in return is unreal....MEN in my opinion do not say that they feel unloved and unwanted...im all for sensitive but this was just mind blowing!! aargh!!!! hahahaha....x

sorry albags.....i gave it a go...but it was never going to work...to be honest i dont think any girl could put up with that he said he didnt like the fact that i wasnt all over him and only payin compliments to get one back is just not for me..honest i am loving and caring...very very much so...but i aint no bum-licker lol and we werent serious....never actually boyfriend and gfriend...just "seeing" each other lol xx

karen i ws waking up to texts because id written on fbook that id had a sh!t day and i was probs over dramatising as u do and i said life is sh!t he was in such a huff because he said this made him look like a tw*t....omg the whole world does NOT revolve around u! come on!! nice guy mostly but a total i am a gentleman act...and it is an act...because the silly digs on facebook too..how childish. haha im so mad!! it just wasnt gonna work....but hey.....i have a wedding in 2wks...im the chief bridesmaid and the best mans hot...hahah JOKE...ive bn single for nearly 2 years...so ill not die off!! was nice to have someone to txt etc but not that carry on! x

My bloke NEEDS attention but not in the same way. He loves his cuddles from everyone, including his mates, but especially from me. He finds it very funny when we insult him....which we do a lot.

Fishing for compliments would do my head in and like you I'd struggle to do it....He compliments me all the time though....but thats just because he's a sex pest :-)

ummm thankfully it didnt even get to THAT stage ...so glad...but the constant fishing was driving me INSANE..im so mad that ive been painted out to be a total unloving freak haha!!

i mean i love cuddles...and all the nice texts and calls n stuff but it was just total me me me me me and then he makes out like nice guys come last! argh!! ego!!
