Just bought one the other day but having difficulty in setting up the sony DVD player. Its connected to the TV via a scart into the AV2, but as i play a dvd i can hear the sound but cant see the picture as its all blank. I tried tuning the AV2 channel from the TV but it doesnt, for some reason let me do it, i.e there is no option to tune on AV2. Any ideas ? The the AV socket is already occupied with the Sky box.

Please help.

In the Bravia Menu accessed from your remote, go to where is shows AV1, AV2, HDMI, Component etc and click on AV2 when using your DVD Player.

Ok here is the scenario, the DVD is connected from a LINE-3 Decoder via a SCART to the AV1 socked (not AV2 as stated, sorry mistake). So i went to the Bravia Menu and selected AV1, no pic' just sound.

Any ideas ? Please help.
Your DVD should be connected directly to your TV via a Scart lead or HDMI Lead.
When I use my DVD my Sky Box gets switched off. My TV usually switches to correct AV automatically but if not I access Menu and do it from there....

i'm stuck :( and my Sky is in the AV2 socket.

What shall I do ? :(
Try swapping your Scart leads around on the TV as my setup sounds very similar to yours. I have a Sony Bravia TV plus Sky+ and DVD Rec/Player connected to AV1 and AV2.

HI redman41, just to let you know that I have managed to fix the problem - the connection behind the TV wasn't tight enough LOL

Thanks for your help anyway
