Good morning all - another glorious day for you today, well it is up in Perthshire, where like so many others over the past two days, I've been glued to a webcam, watching and praying that the Lady osprey makes a miraculous recovery - talk about a tenacious spirit !!

Taking time out now to post this and with the abundance of possible matches, it was a case of picking the right ones - at least this time you were able to match all four of them -

Snow Drop [5 takers ]
Moon Stone [3 takers ]
Solar Eclipse [14 takers ]
Cabbage White [6 takers

Only 28 points in all - seemed like there were more, however HANDBAGLADY managed to pick three for a total of 6 points, while DEVADIVA & ANIKOMO collected 3 points each for their two correct matches, so Well Done to them and also to those who scored a point for their tally.

Next weekend is the last in the month, so hopefully, we'll all reconvene here next Saturday, same time, same place to wind up the month with a bang !!! Now onto the Leader Board, S

And while not a lot of points have been scored so far this month, the Leader Board manages to be quite busy and it looks like this -

The LEADER BOARD

With 6 points each - owllady & HandBagLady

On 5 points - seekeerz, lysander, devadiva & barb7771

4 points - Magyar

3 points - Fibonacci, wickedtongue, Gill G, chriss, anikomo & eccles

Plenty of people with 2 and 1 point to their credit and the Free Fall Club numbers are diminishing each week - I don't believe in encouraging them, you see !!

Have a good week, all, and will see you next weekend........Steff
Morning steff - woo, I got one right! Have you seen the birds this morning? our feeds were down last night so I am glad to get back to the webcam this morning.

Hi boxtops - I see you managed to get connected again, I've been watching since about 9.00am my time - needless to say, housework has gone to hell in a handcart - too bad, this is more important !!

Not game to say anything about the Lady's condition this morning - just waiting with mouse breath to see if she's able to feed.
Have just posted - mouse breath, I like it, very expressive!

says it all, doesn't it - came from a good friend of mine, a Scot, no less !!
Thanks seekerz, and well done as usual to all scorers. No points for me this month yet - could do better!
Thanks Steff ~ no points for me again though I see we are now neck and neck on MM!! Probably won't be here next weekend.

Is it the Scottish Wildlife Trust webcam you're watching. Thanks for the pointer anyway. What has happened to Mumbird, mishap or old age? :o(
Oh Kate - surely the answer to 27d should be " Hundred Aker Wood" or so it is written in all books illustrated by Shepard. I know it wouldn't fit with 30a but it is classically the correct answer.
Does anyone know how to send in an entry when using another computer when we are away? We tried it once but Answerbank didn't register it because it didn't recognise us and we couldn't work out how to put our name in - being a bit thick.

Since Gill G is on the leaderboard - and Jean G is in the freefall club!! - we would like to continue next w/e when we are up in the wilds of Northumberland.

I agree, JRB -strictly speaking, it should have been aker, I've always called it that, but in some things Kate rather has the upper hand !!

Yes, Dusty - the webcam at loch of the lowes - I haven't checked in the last little while, Mr S refused to let me eat in front of my computer, but I've been following the family since the eggs hatched over a month ago and in Sat, am suddenly Mum went down hill very quickly - she's quite an old lady now but a very remarkable one and after two days of watching and waiting to see the outcome, she may have rallied - fingers crossed for a good result.

Gill - if you use someone else's computer and they aren't a member of AB, then register a different name and use their email address to sign up, then just say it's you and I'll take it from there - provided the comp owner doesn't mind
Thanks. It is when we use the computer in a hotel. We log on to our hotmail account and use this to access the Answerbank via internet explorer. I had thought that using our own E-mail, Answerbank would recognise us as Gasbaggertie. I think that there must be something on our own computer that identifies us to Answerbank.Would it work if we logged in using our alternative E-mail address and a different sign in name?
Gasbaggertie,
When I was in the US with my sister, I went to "theanswerbank.co.uk" then clicked on Sign in. You will be asked for your username and your password then simply press the Sign in button.
Hope this helps,
joto
Brilliant - I have just gone in on my little netbook and your method works. Many thanks
