Can anyone tell me how to clear the air from this so it works with the oil we just got delivered?

i presume you mean the oil out of the oil line?? where the oil supply service pipe connects into the boiler there should be a bleed valve. this will have to be opeated if the tank has run dry for some reason. once the line has been purged, that is, cleared of air, the boiler should fire up after one or two attempts. the reason it may not fire up instantly is due to air still being present in the seperator, the bit which sprys the oil into the boiler. this cannot be purged unless it is open, and the only way to open it is to fire the boiler up. try it, failing that, call 0906 343 4468. that is the technical helpline for nwp services. they will tak you through it step by step. good luck
