Who do you drive differently for?

For most of us our driving habits are a far flung imitation of what we're taught when we first learnt to drive. We become a little "lazier" either through comfort or confidence.

However, for some passengers your driving habits will change. This can be through fear of irritating back-seat-driver comments, to set a good example or one of many other reasons.

What we want to know is, who puts you on your "best behaviour" on the road?

An honest question for you, why the most arrogant, rude and inconsiderate drivers tend to be in either BMW 3 or 5 series, or Audi A3 or A4s?
I wouldn't say I was a fast mad driver I drive the same regardless of who is in the car.as often when these mad drivers pass me I still draw up behind them at the traffic lights. But when I am a passenger in my sons and son in laws cars I always tend to use my foot as if I am braking .
the only time I change my driving is when I see a police car, or if I'm taking Colin cat to the vet.

he's not great when cornering ;o)

Really should have put a "pet" option in there!

Yep, being petted would definitely make me drive slower!

MIB, I didn't say all beemer driveres were arrogant etc; I meant some of the worst drivers tend to be in those cars
It's quite entertaining when I'm in the car with my housemate as she's in her early 60s it seems young male drivers think it is fun to roar away at the lights and 'startle the old woman' as if that proves anything, last weekend it it was two little plonkers in a tarted up corsa, Three litres tends to do quite well against a likely max of 1600 in these situations... I don't think she was best pleased to have 'Respect Gran...' shouted at her at the third set of lights but I thought it was funny
