Ah ok..today and yesterday been quite tough..cried my eyes out yesterday..I hate feeling like this..How are you and your daughter?
Question Author
OK - the weather was so fabulous - just wanted to be outside all the time! Daughter's fine too thanks.
The weather here has taken up a bit this evening, still very warm and sunny :)
Looking forward to dinner now :)
Aww nope, that's not him, but that's exactly how he looked when he was a pup.

What a sweetie NoM. Was it this weekend you were coming back to the UK? If so, did you have a safe trip?
I'm still in Spain atm. I will probably leave here about 5am on Saturday and stop wherever I am in France about 8pm Saturday night. I aim to be at Calais to depart no later than 4pm on Sunday. I'm hoping to get to Hereford in time to have a meal out with my mother and grandmother. I'm not sure how long it will take me to drive from Folkestone to Hereford.

I don't know either NoM - but it sounds like a fair old trek.
Tell me about it ! I will be glad of a good few drinks when I park up.

I've done a similar journey before, leaving Birmingham at lunchtime on a Friday, sailing over night from Portsmouth to St. Malo and getting to Valencia on the Sunday night after staying one night in Toulouse. I don't relish the idea, but it's got to be done. :-(

Good grief! Are you bringing Alfie with you?
ive just had a look on the aa route planner nm and its says your journey will take about 4hrs - 215ish miles.
Cheers, Looby... that's pretty much what I expected.

Yes, Alfie emigrating to England. He will likely have his Front Line and Worming treatment on Friday night... Then I can set off really early on Saturday.
