How do I transfer contacts from my mobile Nokia 6233 onto a Mac? Data cable doesn't seem to work and I can't do it using Bluetooth. Thanks

You need to add your phone as a bluetooth device using System Preference then use iSync to add and manage contacts between your phone and mac. Sorry this is a bit short I'm just going out. I'll add more tomorrow if no-one has added the details before then
Have you got a USB lead?

You can back up to your PC.
Greg if you have paired your phone to the bluetooth device list then the next step (either for bluetooth connected or data cable connected) is to start iSync, then follow these instructions http://support.apple....484?viewlocale=en_US. Your phone should be recognised as a 6230. For a first pass I would suggest using "merge data".
After you have completed the sync any change to your address book on the mac or your phone will be copied automatically to the other device when you connect via iSync
