Dear All,

It has come to my attention that there is a growing trend of users asking "Why was my question removed?" or "Why was my question reported?"

Please understand, we will not be responding to questions like this.

Questions are reported by other users - we have no control over this. Questions we remove are removed because they transgress site rules.

Official: All Appeals Will Fall On Deaf Ears (Unless It Is Clearly A Mistake On Our Part).

There is simply no need to be worried about your removed post count, or the amount of questions reported. If you're account is still active, you're doing okay! Please do not consider it a "smear on your character" to have questions removed.

I just wanted to put this out there to try and nip this trend in the bud.

Apologies for being grumpy.

I suppose we could do that? I quite like things to seem justified to the community however - as all these stats are "behind closed doors" I am not sure we could honestly feel okay with the "just trust me on this" aspect this would require.

I know I say this is a dictatorship, but it is a fluffy dictatorship.

Equally we can't make those kinds of stats public either.

Jack, probably not sadly, we just don't have time to whip something up - unless you want to email me your version of a St.G's logo?

[email protected]

.psd is fine, we can deal with it from there.

It is a compliment Salla! Of course!

Right. This has cheered me up rather a lot. Thanks everybody. I must shuffle off and do some evil "plotting"

I will be back some time later on - please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as I get a chance.

Oh dear.....You put one up for St Patricks day.
Did St. George's Day come as a surprise to you ?!?

After all, we have one every year..............:o(

(I don't have one either, but neither do I have a shamrock nor a Chilean flag........!)
I've just gone on Google who tend to be topical and they have a dreadfully wincey pic of a mediaeval scene - doesn't look anything like George & the Dragon to me - is it the same on yours?
I had my Happy St George's day post removed last year, and there was nothing bad on it.

I'm smelling an anti English theme going on here :-(
I found that people ask why their questions were removed, and its not obviosu how they broke the rules, just as B00 said, some people have put some innocent threads and have had them removed for no apparent reason.
That, Mr Ed, is the question we ABers want a presice and valid answer to.

And that statement, Spare Editor, is one I would appreciate a response to.
" we Aber's"............you speak for yourself mate I couldn't give a ****
Fine, "Except for picky Craft",
that better?
I like to think that I am nice,
But I have had questions removed twice;
Without any e/mail from the Spare Ed.

So I'm going to shout,
What's he talking about:
Is it me that's gone soft in the head.?!!!!

Ron
I assume this is my fault. I wanted to know why someone would report my question asking how to get rid of dark circles under my eyes.

ahhhh well!
I'll be blunt:
St George's day-thread was removed, it may have been "offensive", but would this have happened if the thread was wishing people happy ceremony that wasn't English?
For example, if it were wishing people a happy Asia-day (Or something equally pathetic), that thread would have been kept.
How is St George's day possible more "offensive" than that?

BBBE, So, on a thread where I have suggested I will not be answering questions about why your question have been removed, you ask me about questions which have been removed?

Sara3 - Not just you! We had a flood.

The thing is, everyone thinks they are acting perfectly normally within the rules - we would not be able to function as a society without this assumption. Sadly however, sometimes you transgress the rules without realising it.

Why not just post a list of what we can post, it would have been quicker.
