The little traits we take after our parents... Silly things like halfing my pillow when. I sleep like my dad does lol!! Anyonelse? X

I have to go into the kitchen to 'let a little fart' if I have company in the living room. It would be very rude to let one go in the presence of others.

My dad used to have to go into the kitchen when we were all small. Mum used to hate anything so crude. It was hysterical, because we all knew where he was nipping off to, and why he nipped off so quick. We would go quiet and wait for the big "pprrrrhhhh" then collapse into giggles as he walked back into the room all innocent. Mother did not find it funny.

I adopted many of my mother's traits. Drinking, smoking, flirting... like mother, like daughter. I have quit the cigs now, though.

I heard someone say the other day, 'aye well it's harder where there is none' and then I realised it was me, my Mother used to say that to us every tinme we complained about havibng bread and jam or tea.

I do tend to say which I cant help is '' when I was your age '' My Father was always saying that.
