I don't get that just because they are in a different language means they aren't good. I mean... Next Time, Eiríkur Hauksson, Mor Vi Otesi and Sober. All good foreign bands.

who said they were ?

i quite like opera when it is sung in the original language. when translated to english it sounds awful.

and eurovision is so much more entertaining when they sing in their own language, isnit ?

Eurovision is much better with their own language. I just ,mean it seems like froreign songs are not played as much in England as they should be.

The bands except Sober have all been in Eurovision
I love international music, I like the different sounds made by instruments in different parts of the world.
Whatever language people speak, when they play music they all speak one language. It's good to hear some non-English songs sung in English but I feel if they were written in a certain language then they 'speak' better in that language. I mean 'Cwm Rhondda' just doesn't sound right if it's not sung in Welsh, for instance.

One of my favourite sounds is that of Gotan Project - a French-Cuban tango band. I'm also partial to a bit of banghra.
I've travelled to Europe several times now to see Rammstein and they play almost exclusively in German (I haven't a word)
I used to have a good appreciation of music (I also likes Eurovision, still might), but now I like Heavy Metal.
Trivium, Marilyn Manson and Dope.
