No but they look puce, and they apparentely taste like a bitter strawberry
YES! the one i had smelt faintly of pineapple, (well the whole punnet did, the individual one smelt of nothing) but it was quite sour, and had a kind of non-discript flavour really, didn't taste of pineapple didn't taste of strawberry, the texture was of an unripe strawb, youknow where you can see your teethmarks in the fruit still - i was disappointed - initially, they will be bought for novelty value alone, but i can't see them catching on.

Thanks poodicat and mercia, Looks like I wont be rushing out to get some afterall!
I think fruit in the UK is overpriced and of poor quality. Last week I was in Italy and bought huge golden juicy plums at a fraction of the cost we pay. All the fruit and veg was big, fresh, colourful and very cheap (compared to what we pay).
