I am currently with Adept Telecoms and I wonder if anyone else uses them and if so, have they experienced problem with billing.

I have been using them for the past 3 years and it seems fine until January of this year when they sent out notification letter stating that they will starting to charge extra admin fee unless payment is done via direct debit.

Since then they have sent out the bills very late, dated on 15th of the month and expect the bill to be paid by 26th of the month. Howver, on two occasions we only received the bills on the 25th, i.e. 10 ndays after the date on the bill.

When phoned up to complain, the customer service blamed on Royal Mail. I don't believe RM takes 10 days to deliver the letters on two separate occasions. I suspect the company is deliberately sending the bill late and trying to benefits from the late payment charges.

I am now planning to leave them and looking for another company to supply the land line. I have been looking at Telecoms World. Are they any good? Are they honest? According to the website, they claim that they have customers like NHS and Police.

Any comments will be appreciated, as I can't afford to sign up with BT.

I guess you need to look Utility Warehouse as well before you commit to another supplier. They are recommended by Which Magazine and guaranteed cheaper than BT. https://www.utilitywa...ndex.taf?exref=C39608 Media URL: http://www.uwdcvideos.co.uk/index.taf?exref=C39608&v=3&r=
