it seems that every week we are eating the same old food and its getting boring now, but my mum and dad are realy fussy eaters so can anyone come up with recipes that DON'T include any of the following;

nuts, pasta, rice, noodles, couscous, oats,
really spicy ingredients, ginger, cumin, turmeric, honey, syrup,
tuna, crab, lamb, Beef, muscles, smoked fish,
coconut, spinach, cauliflour, sprouts, lentils, beensprouts, swede, turnips, parsnips, courgette, any cheese other than chedar,

Is anyone up to the challenge to find something that we will all eat? i would prefer recipes for main courses but if you have a nice starter or dessert they're welcome aswell.

sorry if there is anything i've missed, i'll add it later.

Oh right, ta ummmm :-)

Have to say mollykins, now this is gonna sting a bit....but you aint half a whinger aint ya?

I've read a few of your posts now and they run the gamut of whining about school, your teachers, the lessons, the uniform, your dad and now your food. Is there ANYTHING in life you actually are happy with?
Mollykins if you are 18 could you not get a saturday or evening job, then you could buy a few extras to help out with the housekeeping and spice up your dinners at the same time?
She's 16 carrot.....
oops I misread no boys until she's 18 in the link!

Molly is there any reason why you can't get a weekend job?
I've just read the rest of the thread - I thought you were doing the cooking for your mum and dad and were looking for ideas - but apparently you're just whinging! What happens to all the ideas you have been given?
Toad in the hole, broccoli & sweet baby carrots

I live in a little village and there's no jobs.

Me and mum are fed up of having the same, boring meals every week that are oober unhealthy, so we're trying to find new things, that are healthy, but with thigns in them that we will all eat. Else if it was just for me the only things i wouldn't have would be smoked fish, lamb, beef, crab, cauliflour, sprouts, swede, turnips and parsnips.

Yesterday, he did literally throw a lump of butter into the chopped carrots, he didn't even use a spoon to scoop it from the tub to the pan, yuck.
Can't you just ask him to dish up your carrots before he puts the butter in?

At normal family meals then?

He can't be that unreasonable...surely?
Molly, I think you should list the foods which your household can eat. Then we'll find / create suitable recipes.

chicken, pork, unsmoked fish apart from tuna, and me and mum will eat beef if its with a strong sauce and won't be chewy or fatty.

Only potatoes, small amounts of pastry and bread for carbs.

carrots, brocolli, peas, cabbage, sweet potato, coleslaw, cucumber, tomatoes

mild cheese, cream, eggs and (semi or fully)skimmed milk.

and a few more things, even though dad is fussy, i thought it would still be quicker to name the things he won't eat than what he will.
Divorce ure parents
Question Author
more veg we'll all eat; leeks, onions, spring onions, peppers

seasoning and condiments; garlic, mayonnaise, chives, salt and pepper (but dad has to cut down on salt) ketchup if its mixed with mayo for that seafood sauce thingy, soy sauce, lemon/lime juice
