I don't know if this is the right site to post this. I have a gift voucher for a local theatre and it has run out by one week and they say they no longer renew them.Is it just tough on my part or is there anything i can do about it.

Yep, sorry but the expiry date is past - why should they extend it?, it's up to you to spend it before the deadline. Same as coupons off shopping, you can't go and buy the thing a week later and still expect the money off.
