Modern Warfare 2: LAN 2 players, same system?

On COD4 and 5 u cant play on the same xbox if your lanning up. So for example you can only have one person per console if your lanning up. So if u wanted to have 8 players, you wold need 8 consoles and tvs. Has this changed for COD MW2? Basically, can u play 2 players on the same console whilst lanning up?
