What exactly do you think this means? personally I think he will be in some secure unit and will be isolated from everyone apart from a few trusted professionals who are sworn to secrecy, therefore like his previous sentence of which he never saw a prison cell, he will almost certainly be having a comfortable time and not rubbing shoulders with hardened criminals who may have access to a mobile camera phone to take a snap of him and sell to a tabloid, I just cant see him being in a proper prison, can you?

pmsl Ankou..

Hello News :-)
ha, very good, Ankou
I'm with Barmaid on this one. People facing trial do not generally broadcast their past convictions as this would prejudice the trial. Sometime in the future Venables will be tried and the jury will be unaware it was him otherwise the trial would be flawed and he would escape prosecution.
BOTTOM LINE is: STRAW and BROWN always have been, are now, and ALWAYS WILL be COWARDS. These clowns could not organise a booze up in a brewery, let alone run a fair justice system. Has anyone ever put it together that the laughable C.P.S. stands for criminal protection system, in STRAW's eyes. What a plank.
Jon - "human rights are precious. Our ancestors fought to win them and preserve them. Let's not throw them away. They belong to all humans, not just the nice ones we know."

What if your relative had been murdered and the criminal was being protected by the human rights law?
People are SO fickle. Everyone loved the guy when he got us to the semis of Euro 96.

He wont be rubbing shoulders with anyone. It will cost us the tax payer yet more of our hard earned cash to keep this person safe.He will be in seclusion or the vulnerable prisoners wing, and until we find out what for,we dont know how long.
It's been on some news reports than it was a fight at work and he has already been sussed in prison but who knows the real story.

There must be one hell of a man hunt going on in prisons and some very suspicious people about as more and more details appear.

I'm sure I also heard he has been sussed previously and even ended up in a hospital back in Merseyside (where he is banned from going without consent) because of one incident.

I feel for the people who are involved with him who have no idea like a girlfriend.

Didn't one of them have a child a while back?

Trouble is it's hard to know what is true and what isn't! All the above came from previous news reports though, I always kept an interest as it formed some major discussions when I was studying law.

It was suggested we read the case report but after learning just some of the details I've never been able to bring myself to, just too horrific how that poor little boy suffered.

I don't believe they should be out. So much for the public interest and it pains me to think of all the other good uses that money could have been used for, helping the victims of crime and such rather than the perpetrators.
