Why can we not have the instructions for posters back again for these two sections. Many people need to be told to give the clue, number of letters and any that they have. Also to put multiple questions in the same post. This morning there has already been the usual - 2d, 17a, 20d etc. sometimes even without any other reference. AB Ed I am sure you will say it is not necessary, but it obviously is.

Yes please, we politely remind on occasion but it uses up a lot of posting space!
Similarly, *this* topic - Suggestions - would benefit from instructions. Many posters seem to mistake it for a place to post when you yourself need suggestions, in general, on any subject, and there's no information here to make them think otherwise. The typing box that says "Ask your question", might it not say something like If you have a suggestion on how to improve this site, please post it in this topic. (In fact, didn't it use to say that?)

(Sorry grasscarp, hope you don't feel I hijacked your thread, but I felt our suggestions were related.)
Sadly I don't think it would make much difference for lazy posters. For example there is a title box and a question details box , which should make the process for asking questions pretty clear, but many posters put everything in the title box, and some just place a few random words down as their question
Judging by the standard of question asked, most of the posters are pretty dim anyway! Asking them for such simply courtesies are pointless - they are only after their answers and are pretty much blind to everything else.
