I have very straight hair down to my ears - last year hairdresser cut it so short I waited 7 months to get a bit of length.

However I may change this hairdresser because when I ask for a curly blow dry she insists on giving me a straight blow dry. Refuses to give me curls. Why

If I go to another hairdresser will she do as I said.

your hairdresser probably can't do curls, only able to do straight as its the easiest. if you don't like the hair style you are getting you are entitled to complain as that is not what you asked for. i do suggest that you find a hair dresser that will give you what you ask for

thanks for that odinslay - I had to wait the other day (dont mind) but she done 3 ladies before me and the style was exact same.

I am happy for my hair to be in rollers under the hairdryer. I am going to look out for the big hairdryer some day as some hairdressers dont have them any more.
Hello Connemmara.

You need a change of hairdresser - one that keeps up to date and listens to you.
You can have some of my waves if you want!! However much I try to straighten my hair, any sign of damp in the air the the waves come back!
There are number methods available for getting curly hair from straight one at http://www.hairstyles...how-to-make-curls.htm
