Me too!

CD-R player or flash? What's reproduction like? Is 1Gb worth the extra money or is 128/256 more than enough? Is there anything worth getting that's under 50?

My question's on Chatterbank, btw.

I recently bought one of (256M) ebay. It cost 1.55, but the postage from China was 20. It arrived within a week and is working fine.

Tip - look for actions ending at strange times for the lowest prices.

Tabby.

Depends what you are looking for.  I've got a Creative Zen Touch 20Gb that will hold 5,000 tracks, roughly 180 in Dixons etc but you will find them cheaper if you look around on the net.  This type(HDD, Hard Disc Drive) would not really be suitable for exercising etc but if you want to use it in the car or home without earphones you can buy an FM Transmitter quite cheaply or use ordinary plug in speakers.  The beuty of this type is that you can carry around your whole music library in a machine slightly smaller than a cigarette packet and half the thickness.  If you have a huge CD collection you can even buy the 40 Gb one for roughly 20 more!

You can get cheap flash memory ones now from 128Mb to 1Gb, with which you constantly change/update the library.  I wouldn't bother with the flash card type, you'll just be constantly changing the cards.
