I don't know that Harry would be one. Though I suppose it is a plausable idea saying that Harry and Voldemort are indeed equals (they both would have 1/7th of Voldemorts soul). But if he was one why would Voldemort be trying so hard to kill him? It also somewhat goes against the prophecy, one of them must die for the other to live. Well, the only way to kill Voldemort would be if Harry died and if Harry died he wouldn't be able to kill Voldemort. So really, I don't think it would work, though I guess it's a reasonable theory at first glance.
He can't be. Voldemort would have had to have done it when he killed Harry's parents, then he would not instantly try to kill him!
Great thought though!
Cool, yeah. Good thought, but after reading the answers, I think it's impossible!! lol
i think voldemort accidently made harry a horcrux when he tried killing him because harry recieved such powers as being a parseltongue

I'm very intrigued by this theory. I started batting it around pretty soon after I'd finished reading.  Harry could easily be a horcrux, assuming a few things. First, we know that Voldemort liked to gather "trophies" and put part of his soul in them after particularly meaningful kills.  Harry's death was certainly supposed to be meaningful because it meant the destruction of his rising opponent.  If the horcrux spell is cast at the moment of the kill, it would have been released, so to speak, with the avada kedavra - meaning it would have been released before the spell ricouched.  If it had worked, Harry would have been a horcrux as an inferi

AND, if Harry's the heir of Gryffindor (as different people have speculated since CoS), it would make sense that Voldemort would be extra interested in making his body into a repository for bits of his soul.

Sick and twisted, I know. But then again, this is the most evil wizard of all time...

I don't think Harry is a horcrux, I think Harry's scar is a horcrux. I dont' know if this was intentional or even if Voldemort is aware that it is a horcrux. This is what I think will happen....

I think that when Harry told Dumbledore (back in GoF) that Voldemort used his blood in the rebirthing ceremony Dumbledore got a 'gleam of triumph' in his eye because he realized something very important. Voldemort thought he had overcome some very powerful magic that was in Harry's blood (by using Harry's blood in the rebirthing ceremony).  According to the prophecy.. 'the one with the power to vanquish the dark lord approaches.... he will have a power the dark lord knows not...'  Well... Voldemort thinks he has overcome that bit of special protection.. but Dumbledore I think chose to sacrifice himself knowingly  so that Harry would continue to have 'a power the dark lord knows not'. No one else knows that Harry was there when Dumbledore was killed (except maybe Snape) and this special protection would not have worked if anyone else killed Dumbledore because they would not realize that Dumbledore was sacrificing himself for Harry's sake and continued protection.

So... in the end what I think will happen... Harry will continue to have special protection so that when the Dark Lord tries to use the Avada Kedavra curse on him it will once again rebound (as it did the first time) and hit Voldemort, using up the last horcrux/bit of soul (if they find & destroy the others) and if the last horcrux is Harry's scar... the scar will vanish.
