Well, 'Sympathy for The Devil' is exactly what has caused my questions. It's not for a quiz, though, just for my own personal interest- I get all the other references in the song- but I dont really know what is being referred to with those lines.

I don't think it comes to any conclusion, but a bit of food for thought.
There's a song by Ocean Colour Scene that mentions Troubadours, i think it's "The Day We Caught The Train". I belive the line is something like "Stepping through the door like a Troubadour whiling just an hour away...".
