Vhs to DVD

My old TV only has VHS player,I have bought a "grabber"to transfer the contents of VHS to my PC and then to DVD.As the TV is in a different part of the house to deskktop I intend to use a laptop.My question is Is it possible to transfer from the tape to the laptop and out to a flashdrive all in one go to save time???? Thanks!!!!

Yes.

Just plug the flashdrive in while you're "grabbing" the video and set the "grabber" software's save location as the flash drive.
