Finger tip loss of feeling - Bitten

Hi my finger was bitten by a human quite hard 2 weeks ago. I have lost alot of feeling in my finger tip (Whole top section of little finger) and thought it would heal but it hasnt. I can feel with it but the outter half is alot numb'er and tingles a bit.
ripped nerves? do they heal/repair?
any suggestions as to how i can help it as i play piano and cant feel where my little finger is!!
