All answers are names of towns, villages or natural or historic features. They go from Lizard Point (sharp end of a reptile) to Thurso (There's nothing at the end of the day!) but not in a straight line, rather random in fact.
Between Gweek and Portland Bill, 3) Did the ox and ass cross here, too. & 4) Parrot and dog are united.
Between Minehead and Saundersfoot 7) Good home for a metal bird, & 8) Useful for a youngster in the rain.
Between Andover and Fleet 22) Opening almost north.
Between Paddington and Bakewell 31) Life in the woods is golden, 32) This place is past gossiping & 33) An unlikely association of African explorer and heretic bishop here.
Between Marple and Bishop Aukland 37) Good news from this height!
I'll leave the Scottish ones for another day. Hope someone can help with these. Thanks.
