OK I know we will all die one day, sorry for the morose thoughts, but I want to find some suitable music to play at mine, (not long written my will you see)

I really would like some kind of Stabbat Mater but want to avoid cliches

any suggestions?

what would you have at yours?

Listening to track 2 of My Bloody Valentine's legendary Loveless album (which actually commences from the last 30-40 seconds of track 1) always makes me think of a funeral I once attended in the bleak midwinter, and if my time came then I would love that to be the entry music. It has a really eerie mood to it - just perfect.

No expectations - The Rolling Stones
On days like these - Matt Monroe
and probably whole lotta rosie - AC/DC

All right......, now give me the real ideas, you lot are so funny but please give it a bit of thought,

I did like the idea of Ermintrudes, sounds like a lovely service.

I also thought of Basket Case by Green day, 'time of your life'

Thanks for the efort so far......

"Attendite" as sung by the choir Libera, I'd want everyone to be inconsolably sobbing, drowned in a sea of tears, snot and dribble at my funeral ...HA !
