hi all,
i mistakenly opened a link today thats doing the rounds on facebook and apparantly its a trojan virus or something and it spammed all those on my friends list.
my (free) avg did its scan which showed i now have infections on the laptop.
i can go into the computer scanner and 'view virus vault' where it lists everything from lots of warnings to the 7 trojans that are now on the laptop.
on there there is an option to delete individual entries or/and clear vault.
if i click on either of those will that get rid of the infections or will i just be deleting/clearing the history in the virus vault and the infections will still remain on the laptop?
thank you for any help received as im a bit anxious :o/

Just clear the vault, it will delete all the infected files it's found.
