Has anyone else noticed that you get very little crisps in a packet from a multipack? Also, why are chocolate bars getting smaller, notably Fry's Turkish Delight?!

Like many products (I think it started with matches) they reduce the size and mantain the price!
Monster Munch, Hula Hoops and white chocolate mice were double the size they are now when I was younger.  Or maybe it's cos my fingers were smaller.
And Wagon Wheels, of course, were enorrrr-mou-ssss !!
They're more like scooter wheels now - (though I suspect nat's answer accounts for much of the reason they seem smaller !)
The choc bars get small so the price dosn't rise The only other alternative would be to use cheeper ingredients which a certain brand of top selling coffee have been doing for some years!
Wham bars are smaller and have fewer yellow tangy bits. Bought one tonight for nostalgias sake and was hugely disappointed. Spooky I chose tonight to look at this q!
Also of course, going back to the crisps, one little pack isn't enough,so you have to eat another one.The good value multi-pack therefore, doesn't last long,so you end up buying another one!
