First car was a Sunbeam Talbot , the road water came in through the floor and wet your knickers , that was my excuse any way , given to me by an aged relative who could no longer drive.Collected it from Lanarkshire and it broke down on the M1, going back home to Kent where I lived at the time.Even the AA man laughed at the state of it , but got it going again .Kept it for about 6 months and part -exed for a mini minor the bonnet of which kept flying up . So well done Brenda.!!!!!

Mine was a second hand Red Talbot Samba which i bought for £150 the day i passed my test in 1990...i drove her till she was a right wee rust bucket.....

Then i sold her for a few quid to a burly biker mate who piled more bikers into her and drove her up a hill in the countryside en route to a summer bash they were having. Poor wee Samba is probably still up there.... :-)
