Ford Focus 2ltr Ghia / 2003
I am having problems with the dash board instrument panel, when I put the key into the ignition and turn the engine on, all the lights in the instrument cluster flash on & off The mileage indicator also keeps flashing. and fuel gauge does not move.

Replace the small filament twist out bulbs at the back of the cluster .... they are part of the circuit electronics and a simple bulb failure can screw up the entire instrument cluster.. Test them with a meter is a good idea first to eliminate the good ones, I simply swapped out a good one at the top with the one behind the milage display ...and it is back in FULL working order.
