Hi Dee,
where did you buy it from? I've just recieved my halogen from ebay, can't see it being covered!
Hey!

We have had our halogen oven since end of July and the bulb has blown! Not sure what do do really!
Would like to know if we can just buy a bulb or if we have to send it off or go bck to the shop!??

Was it you, Dee Sa, who posted a query on halogen ovens back then? I ask because I responded by telling how I'd ordered one and the base was broken on arrival. All I really needed to send back for replacement was a piece of plastic weighing a few ounces. But no...I had to parcel the whole thing up and send it back. A replacement arrived and I was just getting into using it when the bulb blew! There is no access for ordinary punters to put this right, despite the obvious fragility of this part of the cooker. This time I sent it all back and asked for a refund, as quality was clearly a major problem.

If it was you who asked, you may recall that I strongly advised that you should not destroy or recycle any of the packaging, though I hoped you wouldn't need it. If it wasn't you, I hope you kept all the bits and pieces anyway!
Dee, if you find out, can you post back as to how you get a replacement, thanks x

Morning folks, thanx for all the response.
I bought from the JML stand at our local Asda and then took out the extended 2 year warranty with JMl for £9.99 afterwards I was a bit cross because I saw they were being sold cheaper elswhere but it was too late to send it back to Asda as I had used it and I liked it.
I have now e-mailed JML because I should not have to use the warranty as it is under 12 months manufacturers guarantee. Hubby says that will probably not include the bulbs. Yes I do still have the original box, quite unlike me to keep things but "him indoors" warned me not to chuck it.
Will post again on a new post when I hear from yhem.
If we cant get freee replacemnts how about we all contact tv's Watchdog ?
I would try taking it back to Asda even if the JML franchise is no longer there. They might well refund you the full cost of the oven out of goodwill as they don't want their reputation tarnished
