Anyone name scottish actors pre 1900-got a pub quiz tonight and yeah it is a bit of a cheat but its only a bit of fun and we are sick of being thick and last!!!This is the specialist subject by the way.

There was a Scottish actor that starred in some of the Laurel & Hardy short movies & feature movies.His name was James Finlayson.He was born in 1887.

Another Scottish actor was Eric Campbell. He played the big, aggresive, heavy character in the early Charlie Chaplin films. However, even though he and James Finlayson were both born pre-1900 I don't know if they did any acting in that period.
