Our neighbours got a kitten. They are at work all day,but they have a cat flap and as far as I know it has access to both indoors and outdoors. We love cats, but don't want one as we have a bird. but we can't get rid of this kitten. We don't feed it or do anything to encourage it,but all day it is walking along our window sills, crying and looking for ways to get in. When it has managed to get in it doesn't bother about our bird. We wish it would bother other neighbours too as we aren't the only retired couple in the road. We just don't know how we can discourage it. Any suggestions would be welcome

Think the only thing you could do is to perhaps get a spray bottle with just water in and spray him whenever he comes round. he'll soon get the message.

I had four cats and six birds and the cats took no notice of the birds at all! They all lived together in harmony, yet still stalked the wild birds outside.

Poor little thing, As redhelen says he just wants some company.
