One week ago my nephew found a kitten (about 10 weeks old)
Have knocked on doors and asked local vets but no one has claimed him.
We have taken it in and are caring for it as our own, been vets today for check over and jabs.
Vet said to research what the law is, he thinks it might be after a week but was unsure.
anyone know? ive googled but just info on finding a lost pet.

Keep any adverts you have put out with dates etc. Treat the pet as yours (for its own health & welfare) and if the owners make a claim, show them the adverts, vet costs & food bills to be settled by them before you give them the kitten.

That usually makes 'em run!
tambo...LOL
sqad....common sense or am I corrupting all?
Cats Protection League advised us two weeks, but that was some years ago.
